2016 Cindy who holds a BSc Adult Nursing and Nancy who holds a BSc Business Management entered a competition held by Chester University in collaboration with Santander. Out of thousands of videos sent to the Business School they were among the 24 finalists chosen. The two students were crowned winners of the competition after pitching the Boerewors idea.
After the winnings the two went on to perfect their recipe with Riley’s Sausages a manufacturing company they have been working with for 2years now. Samples of sausages where given out to consumers who were happy with the product. Bolton Market Salmon foods was the first to stock our sausage range in their market.
2018 they were invited by Manchester University to the North West Entrepreneur's seminar where they launched their Boerewors Spiced Sausages and the two never looked back.
